Happy Anniversary to Building a Better Law Practice

Happy Anniversary to Building a Better Law Practice

July 2, 2019 Posted by Jeremy W. Richter Reading & Writing

Over the weekend, my first book Building a Better Law Practice had its first birthday. Of course, I didn’t have much time to revel in its launch last year since our second kiddo was born a couple of days later. It was rather a busy few … months for us after that. Actually, things haven’t really slowed down since then. We’ve just gotten acclimated to how much busier things are with two kids.

Nevertheless, it’s a book that I’m proud of. I learned a great deal, not only in the writing of the book but also in going through the publishing process for the first time. I have really appreciated hearing back from readers about how it’s affected them and their practices.

There are two remarks that most resonated. One lawyer who told me (and put in his Amazon review) that he wished he’d had Building a Better Law Practice when he was first starting out. A partner at a firm in Memphis made it required reading for all of his associates. Those are the kind of things that reinforce my hope that I’ve written something that has the ability to effect real change in readers.

If you haven’t yet read Building a Better Law Practice, you can buy it on Amazon, American Bar Associate shop (20% discount for ABA members), or listen on Audible. If you’d like to learn more about the book before committing to buying it, head to my page about the book with additional information and feedback.
